Lord Mayor’s Civic Service

 

MKC Hero standard bearers were out in full force on Sunday, March 8th, to support the Lord Mayor of Plymouth, Cllr Richard Ball, at his special civic service in the Minster church of St. Andrew. Four of our standards: National, Ambassadors, Plymouth and Saltash, were supported by the standards of the Merchant Seamen’s Association and the Royal Marines Association, to parade in the Lord Mayor and church officials.

Rebecca carried the national standard, with the Plymouth standard carried by Lewis, The Ambassadors standard was carried, for the first time, by Harry and he was joined by Barnabus, who carried the Saltash standard, for the first time, at this civic service.

The young people were ably supported by Lewis from the Merchant Navy Association and Richard from the Royal Marines Association.
