The MKC Heroes Choir were welcomed, for the first time, to the Torpoint Concert to launch the Poppy Appeal. The choir joined three adult choirs, the Royal Marine Cadets Corp of Drums and the Plymouth Pipe Band, to contribute to the evening. This was their first gig of the year after a very few practices, so well done to them all.

The choir were joined by standard bearers: Rebecca, Harry and Lewis, who carried their standards with pride.

MKCH applied for four “There but not there” silhouettes and they were on display on their first outing.

There was a special display commemorating animals who contributed in WW 1, spot the elephant with a machine gun!
